STAY AWAY

STAY AWAY!

They just closed our website without any prior notice and without giving any information on it. Spend hours and hours working on getting it up and running. Been running for a month, and now they've closed it out of the blue, and cannot get in contact with them.

We've had a local hosted website the last 10 years before were we had total control.

This is insane behaviour!

Game changer for my business

Shopify has been a game changer for my online shop, the marketing tools are brilliant, the follow up emails from within the system etc help keep that constant contact. Love it, and my sales are higher than they were when I was using WooCommerce.

READ REVIEWS! SCAM

I should have read reviews before even giving any time to this website.

I am a respected merchant on PoS platforms like PayPal, Stripe, Square and others. All I did was create an account Shopify, I received 3 legitimate payments from customers that I know very well to "warm up" the account (standard practice), and the next day the account is terminated for "policy violation" and funds are held by them.

This is a typical scam by PoS companies performed for over two decades, pioneered by PayPal. Allow anyone to create an account and transact funds, suspend the new account without a reason, pocket the money.

Support is extremely poor

Support is extremely poor. The front line staff have little relevant knowledge and just talk about nothing (I think they are rated on word count) and avoid answering direct questions for days on end until the merchant gives up or they are able to provide a partial statement which barely moves the query forward. And clearly those with any answers are stretched thin and generally unavailable. This si just one example of the many ways in which the individual shop owner is not that important to Shopify.

PLEASE DO NOT START A BUSINESS WITH SHOPIFY ONCE YOU GET AN UNEXPECTED CHARGEBACK DUE TO ONE OF THEIR HIRED PAYMENT APPS YOU ARE DONE AND SET U UP FOR 75 DAYS FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU NEVER CAUSED, THEIR IRRESPONSIBLE ABUSE and BEHAVIOUR OF THE WAY THEY MANIPULATE YOUR PAYMENTS AS LOSERS.
Support is extremely poor, unprofessional, dishonest, and incompetitive with other platforms. They are very disrespectful, and could make you waste your time, without minding your efforts for your website, along with your dedication. Then after they use you to register, then they kick u to the trash. They like to suspend, and pause your payments on hold without any follow up, while you are paying the stupid monthly fees and you are banned under their policy nonsenses. Although you are legally bound selling in your region and making standard reviews without informing you of whats happening could lead you having a potential loss of inpact for your business with waste of your time, energy and money. Please think about it many times to start your project when it comes to trust shopify?

Customer Service Lacking

For the most part I have had no serious issues with this company. But….Right now my website will not load. I cannot make a sale. I cannot find out why. I just get sent in circle after circle. This should be such a simple thing to respond to.
What gives? They don’t seem to be interested in helping out a customer. It used to be that a person could call them. Not anymore.

One thing i hate is GREED.Let me tell…

One thing i hate is GREED.Let me tell you how disgusting this company shopify is. For any of their monthly plans,lets say you pay and start your monthly subscription plan on july.5th. Well the next bill should be due on aug.5th right? Wrong......its due on aug.4th.So if you pay on aug.4 the next bill should be sept 4 right? Wrong its due sept 3. This is just one way they nickel and dime you theres many many otheres.Their basic plans were 29.99 but wix had theirs for just 17 bucks so now these greedy pigs shopify dropped their plan from 29.99 to 19 bucks.Greed X 100 .Once you sign up for shopify there will be many more "surprises"...you have been warned.

I was told it is useful, but when I called customer service, after not seeing these function on the website, the rep said it does not do drop shipping, send products to other websites, or anything else that a friend of mine said it did. The customer service is horrible. As my friend recommended it, I would think it is legit but not the kind of people I would do business with. You can google "shopify alternatives" and find what are similar that are competitors. Supposedly you can manage all products on all websites in the shopify account, but then again, the rep told me everything my friend said was false and it cannot do. I do not think being on the shopify website would get much business as I have never heard anyone talk about shopping for stuff on there. I have only heard it mentioned as a place to sell products. There are lots of other places that are better and have more reputable impression. I sell mine on amazon. I tried Ebay but they are best for antique or other rare, hard to find products. When I listed my books on ebay they did not get views or anything, much less sales. Ebay customer service told me they did not add my products to the search results either so they were not supprise I did not get views or sales. That made it a rip off for me and I would think a scam since I paid for it to be added. Ebay never refunded me though they said they would. It has been a year and I still never got the refund. I do not recommend them either.

A:

Google ads are integrated with shopify so it's pretty simple. You can list and sync products on eBay directly from your shopify store. However you also need an eBay account which is separate.
